“It all started over 100 years ago when the Franklin Family homesteaded the property in Hennepin, Oklahoma. It was then, that the roots were planted and the tradition of farming would be carried out for generations to come. ”
Oklahoma Made. Sustainably Raised.
Farming is a big part of our lives and we strive to grow great crops by following strict guidelines and ethical practices. There have been a lot of advancements in farming practices throughout the years(some good and some not so good). We focus on being stewards of the good farming practices. We have implemented strategies that yield healthier crops and longer growing seasons without the heavy use of chemicals and genetically altering methods.
Getting Started —
So you've you decided that you want to start farming. There are many rewards to farming whether you are doing it in your backyard or want to farm commercially. As the saying goes, " you reap what you sew". Humans have been farming for thousands of years and there still isn't a perfect formula, although we think we have a few things figured out. There are many factors to consider such as climate, soil type, pH levels, watering requirements, drainage, and sunlight... to name a few.
We have received a tremendous amount of support from the local community to large-scale vendors and distributors. Click the link below to learn more about our operations.

History & Tradition
We are vey proud of the fact that we are able to carry out a tradition of working the land, just as those before us. While the times have changed, our approach to sustainable farming practices have not. The history behind the farm is truly invaluable and we find this to be the most valuable part of what we do.
Not only is it about family but it's also about community. The agricultural community is one big family that relies on one another for anything that they may need. We are committed to furthering the local community and educating the younger generations about about best agricultural practices.
“It’s not very often that a family can say that a property and farming operations have stayed within the family for over a century.”
